PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In November 2021, the company M.I. Hršak d.o.o. signed a Grant Agreement for the project ‘Strengthening the competitiveness of the company M.I. Hršak by investing in the digital and green transition’. The project received co-financing through a call for project proposals for the award of grants for “Strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises through investments in the digital and green transition”, Reference: KK.11.1.1.01 implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. The project is co-financed by the Recovery Assistance for Cohesion and the Territories of Europe (REACT-EU).
The project consists of several elements: 1) Acquisition of technologically advanced production line for the production of roofing and façade sheets with insulation, 2) Acquisition of software for the innovation of the production process, 3) Acquisition of software for the innovation of the logistics business process, 4) Acquisition of software for the innovation of the business process of customer relationship management (CRM), 5) Project management and 6) Promotion and visibility. Successful implementation of the project will strengthen the competitiveness of the company M.I. Hršak through the transition to sustainable, green, digital and resilient business, with a high level of resource efficiency and digital transformation of production and business processes, all with the development of new competencies, increasing production, increasing exports and creating new jobs.
OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTED RESULTS OF THE PROJECT
The specific objective of the project is to increase competitiveness through increasing production capacity, improving production technologies and introducing digital and green technological solutions.
The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the green and digital transition and increase the resilience of the company M.I. Hršak to respond to market challenges caused by the crisis caused by the spread of the coronavirus.
Successful implementation of the project will enable the following results to be achieved: Increased production capacity, improved production technologies and deployed digital and green technology solutions.
The implementation of the project will contribute to the circular economy through resource efficiency and reduction of waste generation during production and subsequent use of the product resulting from the rounded production unit, and this will also result in a reduction of the negative impact on the environment by reducing CO2 emissions.

In June 2023, the company M.I. Hršak d.o.o. successfully completed the implementation of the EU project entitled ‘Strengthening the competitiveness of the company M.I. The project was co-financed through a call for project proposals for the award of grants for ‘Increasing energy efficiency and use of renewable energy sources in manufacturing industries’, Reference: KK.04.1.1.03 implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. The project was co-financed by the Recovery and Resilience Facility.
The project consists of several elements: 1) Installation of waste heat recovery system for the production process and heating of the building, 2) Introduction of complete heating and internal lighting regulation through the measurement and monitoring system (CNUS), 3) Installation of an efficient outdoor lighting system, 4) Installation of a photovoltaic power plant for the production of electricity, 5) Preparation of project proposal documentation and other project-technical documentation, 6) Project management and 7) Promotion and visibility. Successful implementation of the project will enable a reduction in the consumption of delivered energy within the energy cost unit of the company M.I. Hršak d.o.o. by implementing energy efficiency measures and the use of RES.
OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTED RESULTS OF THE PROJECT
The specific objective of the project is to reduce the amount of delivered energy on the production plant and building. The overall objective of the project is to reduce the delivered energy to the project unit by 655.845.40 kWh/year.
Successful implementation of the project will enable the following results to be achieved:
R1) Energy savings of 411,735.40 kWh/year,
R3) Increase in the amount of RES in gross final energy consumption on the project unit of 244.110,00 kWh/year
The implementation of the project will enable savings of delivered energy by increasing energy efficiency and increasing the production of renewable energy sources, and these savings will result in a reduction of the negative impact on the environment by reducing CO2 emissions.

The implementation of the project has contributed to the savings of delivered energy through increasing energy efficiency and increasing the production of renewable energy sources, and these savings will result in a reduction of the negative impact on the environment by reducing CO2 emissions.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In December 2024, the company M.I. Hršak d.o.o. successfully completed the implementation of the project entitled ‘Photovoltaic Power Plant M.I. Hršak Sisak (MF-2023-1-1-200)’. The project is co-financed by the Modernisation Fund on the basis of the Agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, through the call for funds “Production of electricity from renewable sources in manufacturing and heating (Reference: MF-2023-1-1)".
As part of the project, a photovoltaic power plant was built on k.č.No. 1946/11, k.o. Novi Sisak with a peak power of 180.18 kWp (DC power). As part of the project, 396 photovoltaic panels with a power of 455 Wp were installed on the roof of the production hall. The projected electricity production from a photovoltaic power plant is 191.71 MWh, while the reference consumption of the metering point according to the energy card or the analysis of the 2022 bill is 202.435 kWh. This results in an electricity saving of 94.70 % and a reduction in CO2 emissions of 30.48 tCO2/year.
